On behalf of Mr Holger Knaack, President of Rotary International, and MEP Marlene Mortler (EPP, DE), we would like to invite you to an event on EU leadership in Global Health Security post COVID-19: Best Practices and Policy Responses, to be held virtually on 9 November from 15:00 – 16:30 CET.   

In this 90-minute event, we will explore how to leverage global health initiatives to fight health insecurity. Bringing a wealth of experience from NGOs and think tanks, our first panel will discuss best practices on-the-ground for initiatives working in global health security, and how their work has been impacted by COVID-19. The second panel, comprised of representatives from the European institutions, will situate these best practices in a policy context and debate what future EU leadership in this field will look like in the wake of the pandemic.
