Ori­gin­ally founded in 1984 by Rotary Brussel Coudenberg, our Rotaract club was re-established in 2001. In 2016, we celebrated our 15th anniversary with a vibrant International Weekend in Brussels, with Rotaractors and friends from all corners of the world.

Since Rotaract Brus­sel Couden­berg is act­ive in the cap­ital of Bel­gium and the polit­ical heart of Europe, our club is home to a wide vari­ety of people from every­where across Europe. Without any doubt, we are the most inter­na­tional club in Bel­gium. The club receives very fre­quent vis­its by Rotaract­ors from the entire world, by inter­na­tional stu­dents, by people work­ing for or vis­it­ing the European Insti­tu­tions, and many oth­ers. Fur­ther­more, many of our club mem­bers are very act­ive on the inter­na­tional level, with reg­u­lar par­ti­cip­a­tion in the R.E.M. (Rotaract European Meeting), EUCO (European  Conference), RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award), and Interota events. These are the reasons why our club is an Eng­lish speak­ing one.

Our club is act­ively sup­port­ing a num­ber of social pro­jects in Brus­sels and is always open for new ini­ti­at­ives and organizations.
